What insurances do you take?

Through Headway, we are able to take most major insurance companies. This includes Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Aetna, and Cigna. I will run your insurance to check your benefits and inform you of any copay.

My insurance company is listed on your website, but they say you’re not in network?

Some insurance companies contract with other insurance companies to cover behavioral health and substance use services. You will need to contact the number on your insurance card to see what’s covered.

Do you take self-pay clients?

Absolutely! There is no communication with insurance companies when clients are self-pay.

How much does a session cost?

It depends. The following breakdown is based on self-pay for an individual session.

30-45 minutes $80
45-60 minutes $120
60-90 minutes $160

Do you offer a sliding fee scale?

I offer a sliding scale if you meet specific criteria.

What if I miss an appointment?

If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be subject to a $50 late cancelation fee. This fee allows us to keep running as we block off time for you that we cannot get back if you do not attend.

An $80 fee will be charged if you don’t show up to your session without warning.
